"Building Bridges Not Barriers"
What is L.A. Bridges?
The Los Angeles Bridges Program is a community-driven gang prevention and intervention effort. L.A. Bridges was created by the City's Ad - Hoc Committee on Gangs and Juvenile Justice. L.A. Bridges uses an integrated delivery system to provide service effectively. Various agencies work together to provide activities and services which focus on youth (10 - 14) and their families around the Muir Community.

- B.A.M.S. (Brotherhood Advancement Movement Society)
- G.E.M.S. (Girls Empowerment Movement Society)

- Family Unity Night (FUN)

Community service projects:
- community collaborative luncheon
- outreach involvement
- youth peace rally
