Student use of ISIS
Under no circumstances should you give a student your ISIS password or allow a student to use the ISIS system. UTLA warns that teachers have been fired for allowing a student to enter grades or attendance.
Teacher's Sign-Off Sheets
Every week after completing attendance on Friday, teachers must run a Teacher's Sign-Off Sheet. Turn them in to Ms. Young's box in the main office on later than Monday by nutrition of the following week.
Use the ISIS system to turn in grades. Login. Click on Grades. Click on the ID Code for a class. Go to the Comment Code Association box and select Period 1 (6-week grades), Period 2 (12-week grades), or Period 4 (final grades) [note that the "periods" are grading periods, not the periods of the day]. Click on Change. Go to the bottom of the screen and click on the Edit box. If you are within the grading dates (2007-2008 Mark Reporting Dates), boxes will appear for you to enter grades. Click on the question mark in the yellow circle to see the number codes for comments. (For comments 1 to 9, you must enter 01 to 09, respectively.) You may record up to two comment codes. Click on Submit button at the bottom of the screen to submit your grades for that class. You may go back and change grades later, up until the end of the mark reporting period. After that, you will need to go to the Counseling Office to make further changes.
