Parking at Muir Middle School

Staff and Substitute Teachers

• in front of the Main Building (this lot is chained off during school hours)
• parking lot across the street from Muir on Vermont (during school hours get key from Main Office)
• between school library and Main Building (enter from 60th St.; gate is locked during school hours)
• at the rear of the campus (enter from 60th St.; gate is locked during school hours)
• behind the school cafeteria (enter from 59th St.; gate is locked during school hours)

All on-campus parking is locked during school hours. If you need to enter or leave during the school day you will have to park on the street. In an emergency you can get the lot keys from the Main Office.

Visitors and Parents

• during school hours you will need to park on 60th or 59th Street. Watch for parking restrictions due to street sweeping.
• after school and on weekends you may park in any staff lot when the gates are unlocked.

You must park in a marked stall. Cars not in marked stalls will be ticketed. Do not park in stalls reserved for principal, nurse, plant manager, or the handicapped. Do not block fire lanes (spaces between buildings). Do not double-park.
