How to Register Your Child For School at Muir Middle School

To register your child for school, you must come to the school (telephone registrations will not be accepted). The child must come with you to the school. The child must reside within the Muir Middle School attendance area.

What to bring:

Come to the Attendance office. Enter the main entrance to the school. Sign in at the Visitors' Desk immediately in front of you as you enter the building. The person at the Visitors' Desk will direct you to the Attendance office. At the Attendance Office you will be given an Registration Packet with enrollment forms and information about the school. The enrollment forms will not be accepted until you complete an Emergency Card with at least three working phone numbers.

Muir Middle School is a "uniform" school. All students are required to wear a school uniform. The uniform is a white collar shirt and black skirt or pants. Athletic wear is not acceptable.

Muir Magnet School

The Muir Magnet School is a special school-within-a-school. To learn about entrance requirements for the Magnet Program, contact the Muir Magnet Office. Entrance to the Magnet Program is competitive and enrollment is limited. Acceptance to Muir Middle School does not guarantee admittance to the Magnet Program. Applications to the Magnet Program must be submitted by the required annual deadline.
